The 3D graphics module starts right from the very basics so don't worry if you've never even thought twice about it. Starting with creating basic shapes, students quickly learn how to add light to a scene. By the end of the semester students have made their very own short
3D animation of a robot arm.

This is one of the first practicals where students were required to make a brick wall with the correct dimensions. This was made using 3ds Max. |

The student were required to make a 3D fruit bowl which included a wine glass, counter-top, fruitbowl, a banana, an orange, an apple and a pear. This was made in 3ds Max |

The spider and teddy characters were made using Blender. Once students have a basic knowledge of 3D, there is a vast range of software available for them to learn. |
This is my first attempt at a 3D animation, as you can see I have a very long way to go, but I learned a lot. We used
3ds Max, then edited the video in
Premiere Pro.
I followed this really simple tutorial
"Blender create a bouncing ball rig" and learned how to make a bouncing ball!!
